A lot of students wonder whether they should take the SAT or the ACT. While we encourage students to take both the SAT and the ACT early in their sophomore or junior years, when it comes down to it, students will usually find they have a preference for one test over the other. Once you know that you have a preference for either exam, it’s easier to focus your study efforts on that test when you take it again in your senior year, when it really counts.
